Mercury mark 30

      I’m not a merc guy but a good deal is hard to pass up. I found this mercury mark 30 but it has a leg that doesn’t have the typical cross bracing and I cannot find any pictures of one like mine. According to the serial number and the info on old mercs .com, it is a 1956 with factory tiller and electric swing starter. Anybody know what the difference of the two motor legs is?
