I need to replace the impeller in my 1953 Merc Mark 5. My old notes say that I used an impeller for Mercury 60 motors from 1965 and prior in my Merc Mark 6. Would a Merc 60 impeller work in my Mark 5?

Thank you Buccaneer. Now that I’ve gotten into it do you know of a source for the driveshaft and water tube seal for the pump housing on a Mark 5?

Thanks again. I’ll give them a try. The motor fires right up, so it’d be nice to get it pumping water again.
