I am trying to find the correct part number for a fuel connector. This is for a Mercury Mark 6 motor, 1956 model. It is the female part that connects to the motor. I have a bunch of the larger connectors and they don’t work for this motor.
Thanks for any help on this.

I believe this is what you want. Probably more than you paid for the whole motor but that’s the way this hobby goes, sometimes.

NO mark 6 takes the large standard fitting that most mercs take not the small one.

I will check my motor again. It seems like the smaller one also fits the Scott Atwater motors. Wish i hadn’t given away that gas tank with the fitting on it.

Well, after digging this motor out I tried one of the larger fittings. It works! That’s what I get for assuming without double checking.
The fitting that works on this motor is part # 22831, for anybody that needs to know. Thanks all for the help.

That’s funny. That’s what I was thinking when I first read the post but not having touched a Mark 6 in so long, I went along with the idea of the small one…. oops.
