      Is there any way to check if my messages are being sent out? I have sent several messages recently, but have not received any responses

        go to private messages ( top right) and go into sent box.

            Are they still in the outbox? As I understand it, they don’t "send" until the person reads them.

              Kirkp, you are correct, you send you message, and it remains in the outbox until the recipient receives it, meaning reads it.
