For trailers or tubes that you want to keep mice out of, stuff the tube full of copper "Chore Boy" scouring pads. I learned this trick from the Airstream club as they all stuff the frame tube near the hitch to prevent mice from getting in. Mice will not chew up copper and it will not turn to instant rust.

Once in a while you get a slippery one and have to adjust the trap to almost go off in a strong wind. I don’t like poisons since it is no guarantee where it will expire or what happens after.
November 13, 2016 at 3:50 am #47372Thanks Guys; My wife has an extra box of fabric sheets so I’ll try that first. Today I stuffed them into the corners of my basement up in the joists. Nice weather next week so I may be able to leak check the Wolverine after the new harness. pugetsoundboater; what’s the cat’s name in the cartoon?

Cello (Ships Cat) used to be rather spot on with meece and rattus. She is somewhat retired these days so at nearly 16 She "Aint What She Used To Be".
A next gen when required but always hugs and cuddles for an old puss aye.
Next Cat is a Main Coon…….not that they actually do anything but watch rodents I have been told.
Cello will see a kitten Her size one day……..THAT will be more cuddles or I will be in trouble etc .
Bless Her!

November 13, 2016 at 5:33 pm #47393Yesterday a large crow or a raven landed on the house roof with something in its talons. I could see the long tail and realized it was a rat! It was probably dead when he found it and might have been killed by a neighbours Bengal tom which attacks anything which moves. That Bengal would be good for keeping the mice down.
Is this Cello by any chance?
