      Would the Military messed around with a "West Bend" outboard,

        Cant say if its military but the yellow sheild shape on the hood reminds me of the US Forest Service logo.

          Seems like I have seen a military West Bend in The Antique Outboarder. Maybe the owner will chime in here.

            A member of the "MOB" chapter has one and if I remember right
            it had a military tag on it.
