I’m looking for someone that will be traveling I 35 near Northern Iowa and traveling south. I am in KC Mo, but anywhere closer to me would be great I will compensate for helping. It is just a three horse motor so it should not take up much room. Let me know if you may be able to help. Thank you. Brian.

Brian, if it helps and someone is coming close to Omaha I can hold it for you and we can make arrangements for later delivery.

Have you considered listing it on UShip.com? You can list odd "less than truckload" (LTL) freight there, specify what you need shipped, where it is, where it is to be delivered to, the date range it can be picked up and the date range it can be delivered and transport companies will bid on getting the shipment. If a transporter has some extra room on a truck going past your pickup and delivery points at the right time they might offer to add your freight to their load for a few extra bucks. Sometimes you can get really reasonable rates on shipments if everything fits well with the transporter’s route and schedule. It’s worth a try. It’s free to sign up and list and you don’t have to accept any of the bids if they’re all too expensive for your budget. I used it to get a ski boat hauled from southern Minnesota to the Canadian border in Montana and it worked out really well for me. I definitely recommend that you give it a shot to see what happens. I’ve just listed an auction to move a motor from Haliburton, Ontario to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I’m curious to see if it gets any bids and what they are.
