      Firstly, an apology to Bluehaze for stepping on your earlier Sea King thread.

      Thanks to Tubs for the recommendation of a suitable replacement plug, and the info on carb settings.I don’t have much experience with this type of OMC carb. The stand-mate 3.0 hp Buccaneer looks to have a very similar carb design.

      My problem may well be a voltage problem as I had to solder on a new plug wire. The little motor was found in the rubble of a burned down garage, so the wire’s coating had been consumed. It does however produce a nice hot spark with a tester…….and with the old J11 plug that was in the motor.

        A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
