heres my new project looks like a pretty good unit to rebuild. going to need a handle grip,2 rewind dog springs and a pullcord handle. if anyone has any of them iyems id be intrested in buying. also this is dull grey, did they make them on green as well? ive seen parts for it with patches of green still on them thanks for any help info or just for looking.

No green. They are all Dull Aluminum. These motors have higher than expected compression to run well. 110-115 PSI as I recall.

ok thank you, she seems to have pretty good compression just turning the prop. can anyone tell me a good place to get dull alu spray paint?

Tempo Dull Aluminum lacquer available in spray cans at auto parts stores.

The green is probably Zinc Chromate primer which is green and its specifically for aluminum.

got the lower unit all tore down restored and put back together, its a start paint matchedup pretty good!

Rewind dog springs are made from guitar string. You may see a post on how to make them here soon. Nice little motors. I have a couple DT-37&38’s to start on.
