      Good to hear you enjoy repairing vintage audio.

      I do as well. I like working on antique tube radios when I get the chance. I really like the Zenith Transoceanic radios. They were well made.

      For 70s stereo equipment I have a Pioneer SX850 that needs some attention and hope to get at soon. I just love a nice smooth analog dial.

          Out in the pole barn I have a Pioneer Spec 1 pre amp along with with a Pioneer Spec 4 power amp. I got them when I was in the Navy stationed in Japan back in the  early 80’s . I am powering a pair of Klipsch Lascala speakers. They sound great . Occasionally I will blow the roof off the barn to stir the mice up.

            Got it around 77 or 78.
            Still working but its dead on the left side.

            A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
