My uncle’s motors

The blue one did run I believe that was the last one that we worked on. If I remember right that is the one that he modified the lower unit by adding a copper pipe from the water pump then ran it outside the lower unit to the bottom and faired it in with epoxy. This was so he could put it on a higher transom on the boat he built. The black one came with a boat that he bought about 3 years ago and as far as I know it is still in the garage upside down with a new bottom about half way back on. If you can do the work and want a nice wooden family it would’ve a good one for you

The motors are located in Hawthorne, NJ.

My aunt was devastated by his loss. It’s been hard and I have been trying to help from my home in Michigan.
