        I believe you are right. There are a lot of parts that are interchangeable between the two. What is wrong with the carburetor on your model?

          hi garry rebuilt carb has great spark fuel bowl full no fuel to the plugs what should I check thanks smitty

            If there is fuel in the carb bowl, it would be nearly impossible for it not to go on through (as a carb fault). You could throw a screaming cat through those big passages. I suggest you get your eyes off the carb and look elsewhere. Have you actually looked at the ignition? “Good spark” doesn’t impress me at all. Cracked coils will give a spark but not run worth a hoot.

            You have checked the compression, haven’t you?

            BTW, wet plugs would indicate flooding, if that is what you are looking for.
