If there is fuel in the carb bowl, it would be nearly impossible for it not to go on through (as a carb fault). You could throw a screaming cat through those big passages. I suggest you get your eyes off the carb and look elsewhere. Have you actually looked at the ignition? “Good spark” doesn’t impress me at all. Cracked coils will give a spark but not run worth a hoot.
You have checked the compression, haven’t you?
BTW, wet plugs would indicate flooding, if that is what you are looking for.
