    Hello,

Can anyone tell me anything about this motor?  This is 12V and it works.  Any info would be great.  Apologies.  Best pictures I could take.  Thanks!

Looks like an Owen Dyneto motor, sold by Evinrude,
      Early 1930’s I’m guessing.
Owen also supply those motors to Evinrude / OMC
to use as starter / generators on some bigger motors.

      Prepare to be boarded!

Thanks. Yes – it says Owen Dyneto on it.  Is it scrap?  Collectible?

I looked up the model number (4029) and all is says it 1934-36 All Electric. 0006 means it was the 6th motor produced. I suspect there weren’t a lot of them manufactured. I think you will have a lot of interest in that motor. Be careful with what remains of the decal.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
