      Help…Need info and pics of Igntion system, coils, and wiring ….for K 45 motor….
      Not sure if bad coils, weak magnet, or condensor…..
      No spark …. Where does the spark wires attach to the coil? Think I got bad parts from Penn (?)….

        Let us know what’s been done so far… Was the coil replaced? or the whole mag plate? Were the wires replaced? Do you have equipment to test the condenser? Have you removed the points and condenser and cleaned all contacts? Have you gapped the points so they start to open when the mark of the flywheel passes the mark on the mag plate?

        Also, on another issue with this motor, does it have the exhaust relief lever? If so, which side of the tiller support bar is it located?

          at least for testing might try new condensers. I have had good luck with some sold for 60’s Chevy just had to make small plates to cover
          the rectangular opening on the bottom of the mag plate. Might also replace the plug wires. Cut them off about an inch from the coil and solder and shrink wrap or liquid tape them. That keeps the heat away from the coil. Most of the time the coils are ok just condensers shot. I have done my A50 and K50 this way and both run good.
