need place to rebuild 6 volt starter (Detroit)

A fellow member wants his 6 volt starter rebuilt.
He does not want to mess with it himself.
Its from a 25 hp 1955 Johnson RDE-17
He lives in a Detroit suburb
He does not have a 12 volt starter bracket

I recommend he look for a place in his area that rebuilds automotive starters. They should be able to rebuild his starter unless it needs parts that aren’t available. I ran a quick web search and came up with the listing below in a suburb of Detroit. If they can’t do it, they may know someone who can.
