Just bought this yesterday and the FB AOMCI says it is a 1931 elto 401. it looks like it needs a handle and maybe a bracket? any one have one or a good photo off of the motor so I can see what I am looking for? I have not inspected it as I bought it at a local online sale and just brought it home and put it on a stand. Is there a manual available to view?

Looks like it broke off. I could send a picture but the file size will be too big.
        I sent you a message.

The part that is broken off is basically a stub with a threaded hole in it for the tiller handle mount. It is part of the crankcase casting, so you will either need to weld a piece on or replace the crankcase housing itself. I’ll see if I can dig up a pixel or two later.

He's livin' in his own private Idaho..... I hope to go out quietly in my sleep, like my grand-dad did..... and not screaming, like the passengers in his car...
