Newbie what motor is this?

Nick looking at the map, I see that you may be at a bit of a disadvantage as far as connecting with fellow outboarders. If you haven’t already, suggest that you look through the national register and find a few members that are close and give them a call… maybe get something going in your neighborhood. You know that one of the best aspects of this club is the comraderie.

Thank you Joe. It’s surprising there’s not much in this area because we’re so close to Douglas Lake which was created when they dammed up the French Broad River. It’s home to a lot of fishing tournaments and is known to be some of the best Crappie fishing in the country. I’ll keep trying to locate like-minded people who are close. If I could ever get a vintage motor and vintage boat restored and take it out, I’m sure it would do the advertising for me.
