Be sure to check the fuel tank as well, make sure it is clean and free of rust. There is a “scintered filter” that threads into the tank, it must be clean and free flowing. I don’t recommend trying to remove it, because it will probably break on the way out. Flip the tank upside down and soak the filter internally with carb cleaner. Once the fuel tank and line are reassembled, be sure fuel flows freely from the fuel line when the valve is open.
The fuel tank cap vent can be another issue, sometimes the like to plug up. The most common symptom would be an engine that runs OK for ten minutes or so, then seem to starve/run out of fuel.
