Unfortunately price rises are going to happen.  Think back to when we were kids;  the prices of everything have risen steadily and will continue to do so.  Personally I would prefer to pay a bit more and retain the quality.  Rather than stop including a side salad with my sandwich….I would prefer to pay more and still get the salad.  The small amount of annual dues to belong to this club is exceeded by the cost of gas to get to just one meet.

As a Life Member of The AMA

I still get my monthly issue of

Model Aviation Magazine.

I have never had a delivery problem.

AMA uses perforated plastic that is easily

removed for reading. The use

of a fitted plastic protector may be a

cheaper alternative.

We thought going to the self-mailer would require the thicker outer paper and that it would be supplied. But, it didn’t come that way as there is an extra cost for 80lb and 100lb paper. So, we are in discussion about making sure this doesn’t happen again. But even going back to the envelope, several people over the years have received damaged magazines in the envelope, which is a USPS issue. All we can do is replace those.
