      Thanks for all the replies and info. I’ve been out of town since last Thursday.
      Mine is not olive drab color, it’s blue and silver.
      The transom clamp looks like any other motor of that vintage.
      Mine looks like the ones in the ads.

        If it is truly an Evinrude Big Four. one model for a 20′ transom was offered starting in 1946. It was offered in 1949 for a 15" transom. Some were built by enterprising enthusiasts using a Johnson P500 pump powerhead. Steve Woods motor is one and has Johnson clamp brackets. I have the Parts Book and Owners Manual, if needed. . . 😉
