      Hello.
It may be a bit off topic 🙂
Locally there’s an inboard engine on sale.
The seller doesn’t seem to have any details about the engine.
For me it looks like a circa 1920 motor.
Price wanted is 150 $ CAD, all parts are supposed to be present, brass cylinder head and the engine has compression.

      Any idea ?
      Thanks.
      Philippe.

Of course I will buddy 🙂
              I think it’s a "hot head". Maybe a Palmer.
But I don’t know anything about those engines.

BTW, I just bought a Scott Atwater Firestone 3.6 hp for 75 $ CAD just 6 km away from home.
Good compression, but the tank needs a lot of love 🙂
Not a exciting model, but cheap and I need something to have my hands dirty 🙂

For now I have so few tools I had to ask my neighborhood for a 7/16 😛
It s funny, and good for social relations.

Hey Nali. Long time no see !

I believe those tanks are notable for rusting along the seam.

Wow, sorry to heat it nali. Glad you’re rebounding .

Yeah, I was referring to the Firestone/ Scott Atwater 3.6. I have one and the tank doesn’t leak, but is starting to rust along the seam.

                        I got some few information.
It’s a pedestal base, the mounts are at the bottom, not at the center of the crankshaft.
So it could be a pre 1910 engine.

Not sure, but it could be a Fairbanks-Morse. It looks a lot like this one :
