I have a 1934 Caille Model 119 that I’m restoring to be a runner. Can anyone tell me the proper Oil/gas ratio and what type of oil to use?
Also what is the correct Champion(or equivalent)spark plug?

That might be an 8:1 motor…..but no less oil than 16:1….. Some feel less oil because of newer oil, to which I respond, ” How long until your local Caille dealer can get you new parts, “should” something happen due to insufficient oil in the mix”?

You can use pretty much any good quality 2 cycle oil, but consensus is regardless of which oil you choose, keep the manufactured recommended ratio…and that act should prevent any failure to to poor lubrication.
