The 1.7 horsepower Johnson 100 was a one year only motor and built in 1936.

Model 100 is essentially the same as a J-75. It doesn’t do 360 degree steering …. has different exhaust and lower unit. Most of the powerhead components are interchangeable with J-75/70. not sure about J-65.

They’re simple and reliable — and so cute I had to go find more . I think I have 4 or 5 J and Model 100s.
