I have an old omc 3 gallon fuel tank as seen like the picture below with only a hose fitting on top. How can I make this a quick disconnect to use a standard OMC connector? I want to use it as a backup tank and disconnect from my normal 6 gallon tank which has the omc connection.

I don’t know if you can unscrew that pick up assembly and screw in one that has a male connector. I’m not sure I’ve seen one of those on the 3 gal. So you have to attach a short length of hose to the tank and attach a male connector to the other end. Then your female on the squeeze bulb assembly will be able to quick disconnect.

That second picture you posted helps. I didnt realize they had one available with a valve that would seal when the fuel line was remove. Thanks
