What is the Bendix Scintilla mag number for this model ? The only number that I think it might be is 399-125. I would also like to know if any modern female fuel connectors will hook up to this engine ? I have not been able to find any manuals showing the parts or operation of this motor. I know if anybody knows it will be one of the AOMCI’s members , Thanks

Take a look at this website, which covers all things Oliver. In 1958, the Oliver line had a 6HP, and it is possible that your 5.5HP is based on an earlier Oliver, or it is a slightly "de-tuned" version on the 6HP. I’m not sure exactly what Oliver did during its brief stint making the Wizards, but when Mercury was making Wizards, their Wizards were often lower HP versions of the Mercury lines, or somewhat hybrids put together from various Mercury models.

This site has numerous Oliver manuals, as well as the owner’s contact information. I bet he can help you figure out what you’re dealing with.

Thanks , it looks like 2 different coils one for the upper and one for the lower cylinder. I will have to get in touch with those guys , I see they sell coils for the J and K model Oliver’s. Thanks again
