Is there a more affordable  alternative  to for OMC drain plug gaskets #311598? Local dealer wants $4 a piece. TIA

Amazon has lots of multiply packs of washers for 3/8″ plugs, if that’s what you need.

Wow;  your dealer must like money.  They are $1.58 on marineengine.com and that store is not really known for bargains.

Is there a West Marine near you?  West marine is a Sierra Dealer and offers free “SHIP-TO-STORE”.  They sell a 50 piece of the Sierra gaskets for $44.99….or a 5 Piece pack for $3.79.

That’s funny…you’d pay $37.90 for 10 packs of five, but $44.99 for one pack of fifty. Is that right? I mean, I’m bad at math, but….

LOL….I noticed that as well!  I was wondering if anyone here would point it out!

Reminds me of High School.  A teacher liked to show examples of that in the supermarket.  Happens all the time and is apparently a “trick” that’s used commonly in stores.
