      I have a 1936 2.5HP OMC model 4158 engine. My question relates to decals. Did OMC have different decals then either Evinrude or Elto brands.
      This looks like the Evinrude Handitwin except the Flywheel says OMC instead of Evinrude. Any help would be appreciated

        As far as I know, there never was an OMC decal. Generally if it had a Magneto it was an Evinrude and if it had a batter ignitions, it was an Elto. There were exceptions. The Elto Handifour had a Magneto, and there was one Lightfour Imperial that had a battery ignition. About your Decal – These are the pages from the 1936 advertising brochure. . . 🙂
