A friend of mine had one of those, when we were kids. It ran great, even though he ran it in salt water without mercy. Sometimes he would sink the boat. We’d drain the carb, pop the flywheel, hose it off, blow it off, put the flywheel back on and go. It took maybe a half hour each time. It would cough a few times and then run like a clock again. What a bullet proof thing.
Long live American manufacturing!
