The hole in my Fleetwin’s "brass" throttle control link is worn oblong.
What would be a good method to make the hole sized as new?
      Silver solder and re-drill?
I know the slop probably won’t make much difference, but
I’d rather fix it if I can.
      Thanks for your thoughts!

I filled one in with, what else, brazing rod once and drilled it out again to try and get rid of the slop in the throttle. Solder would be too soft.

Mumbles, I guess I’ve never tried brazing braze pieces…… for some
reason I didn’t think it would work. Thanks!

Here’s what I did done to fix the sloppy hole.
            I found a hunk of brass tubbing 1/4" ID x 5/16"
            OD.
I drilled the oblong hole in the throttle control link
to 5/16", installed my new bushing in said link.
            It fits like new again.
