What is this thing? I am pretty sure it’s a tiller handle throttle shaft….but if that is right, then what does it fit? I am pretty sure I have seen one of these before but I just can’t place it. It has a part number on it but when I search online, it always comes up as another, more common throttle shaft. I think the label is wrong on it.

Pretty sure that’s the shaft used in the 9.5 horse motors, P/N 381613.

Ah ha! I have a couple of 9.5s in my basement but haven’t actually WORKED on one in probably 20-30 years. I guess that brain cell farted out! Thanks for waking it up!
