      i need to renew my subscription….to any interested here is a photo of a quality cover i am making for motors up to the 7-8 hp class…heavy sunforger canvas with cotton  webbing handle and leather reinforcement pieces…the one for sale will be similar to the prototype in the photo.

        You know many years ago I thought about making a fiberglass mold to produce shipping containers for outboards, I could line the inside with foam and maybe make a few adapters (auxiliary larger foam inserts) to allow for variating cowl dimensions).

        Maybe; small 1-5 hp, medium 6-12hp, large 13-20hp

        Then people could store, ship, or protect their outboards instead of outboards all smashing all around in shipping or in the shed or in the back of my truck.

        I never got around to it…

        Plus I was concerned about gas that people might put in it. And the effect on foam and the case.
