      Should a 1950’s starter bracket have a P/N stamped on it? I have a bracket with a paper tag on it that says ’58 18HP and it is nothing like anything in my 1958 Johnson catalog. I believe it is from a Johnson. Thanks for any help!

        Are both motors/brackets for an 18hp? Also, Johnsons with flip-up hoods take different brackets than Evinrudes (because of the hood mounts).

          I’ve only been looking at the Johnson catalog. I might have an Evinrude. Thanks
