      .Can a P35 crankpins be ground and hardened to work on a PR40 with roller bearings? 😕

        Almost anything is possible with enough money. For starters, the P35 crank would have to be perfect – polished and magnifluxed to find hidden cracks. I had a reground VW crank break on a long trip. It turned out to be an undetected fold in the forging that caused the break. It was a month out of warrantee . . . . 😥

            Hi George, Nothing, I was just wondering if the case ever arises.i may have an extra P35 crank and the late model P’s seem less common….. 😉
