This one apparently same make as Parts Motor #1,
but it has two transom screws, the other only one.

Looks like a mercury k1 or k2, like 1940. Maybe a wizard or sea king variant. Has the stamped steel transom clamps and side routed water discharge.

I wasn’t thinking that was gold paint. Looks like gold patina

Not enough motor left or clear enough picture to peg. A hands on inspection would tell a lot
more but perhaps not enough to be sure if label was Mercury, Sea King or Wizard.
It is a 1940 or 41 prewar motor if clamp is original to motor.Wizard gold is on postwar
WD series. Prewar paint came out of same bucket for all three brands. 1941 models had
leg tag on Portside while postwar models had tag on Starboard side. No tag showing on
                      Starboard side photo.
I would go $20 maybe more if powerhead is ok just to have parts on hand. Shame of it
all is it left the factory complete in A1 condition. I have seen prewar motors ready to run
and more often ready to scrap.

Looked at this one today, and now it has a tag, lol.
                        It’s a Wards Model 14-K1-8821
This is what it’s suppose to look like….
