Parts Numbers

• Everyone on this forum have been so helpful.  Thank you!  I have a question about part numbers.  I have a Johnson RD18 1956.  I have the original parts book.  When I look for parts the old numbers have been superseded.  Kind members on this site know the new numbers.  I’d like to know how I can find the new numbers so I can readily find parts.  It seems Sierra has most parts of I know proper number.  One individual said he has parts list.  I wouldn’t know where to find that.  TIA

Type in the OMC part number, the superceded part number(s) should come up. This may not work for some of the early part numbers with the – mark though.

If no superseded number is indicated, pad the old number with zeros to make it a 6 or 7 digit number.  44-13 becomes 004113 or 0004113, etc
