      new to me tool….:-)

if ever you have plastic parts to repair like cowls etc….  you may want to  look into plastic soldering/repair tools.

I just “repaired” a badly cracked EZ loader fender and must  admit I should have done so before buying a new one ($200 fender)  last winter .

Plastic welding is common in automotive  body parts  repairs  and for $40 on AMAZON  I got the  gun  and a bunch of  welding  pins  of all shapes .

On utube  … one can go all -out  and restore car parts   to like new but just for  basic cracks  on cowls  and  other plastic parts  it does the job.

      Amazon.ca : plastic welding

my gun is 70 watts.. a bit slow to  heat up  so maybe a 100 watt gun ($$$) is better but…..mine works if a bit patient .

best to work from the back side of the crack  if possible of course ……to  improve  the final looks
