I picked up a PO15 that someone had converted to a cottage racer.

A co worker grabbed it for me. When I got it, thought the powerhead was seized.

However, took the jugs off, and the flywheel can rock a 1/2" or so back or forth smooth, then stop dead. That is the reason I took the jug off, thought there was something in the cylinder.

Now wondering if the gearcase is seized? The prop wont budge a bit. Should I pull the gearcase to troubleshoot this? My first PO.

The plugs in it are Bosch M4515, made in Australia? Two green stripes on em. First time I have seen these.

Wonder if they are alky plugs? I don’t see any info on them from what I have.

Sounds like a stuck lower unit. I d open it up and check for damage.might just be a chip of a gear tooth.

            Drop the gearcase.

You will need to anyway based on the information you provided.

Chris is that M4515 or M45T5?
