      Don’t overthink it. The factory wired the points to either side of the switch. Ill post a couple type options.

          I agree that I’m over thinking this matter. Based upon your attachments and taking into consideration that my 18 doesn’t have electric start, it appears that simply connecting the 2 magneto wires will kill the ignition when activated. Done deal. Over and out and thanks to all that demonstrated patience with me.
