What year is your Sea King 12 HP? My book on 1957 Sea King 12 HP model GG8971B calls for a prop seal p/n 302545 superseded to p/n 313284.

      313284 is a Sierra 18-2005, or SKF 6190.

outbdnut2, thanks for the SKF chart. Do you have a conversion chart from SKF p/n to OMC p/n?
        Thanks,
        Roy

Chris, I sent you a PM. Do you have another site?

No – that chart I found just converts going the other way – put in the OMC number and the SKF number comes up. Most of the old OMC numbers are stamped in the brass on the part unless it’s been swapped with another brand over the years. By working with both the OMC numbers in the Sierra conversion chart and the SKF lookup, you should be able to look up most of them.

Here’s another SKF interchange tool, but I don’t think that’s what you are looking for. In this guide, go to the six digit numbers starting with 3 and look for OMCs. For example, look at the right column on page 238 and you will find several OMC numbers with SKF numbers (catalog page 238, not PDF file page238). More on other pages.

outbdnut2 thanks for the charts. I’ll play with the charts and maybe I can work it out.
