At a recent chapter swap meet a prop came my way…looked early Mercury K Model but is not.
Any thoughts as to what it might be?
7 1/4" aluminum left hand, two blade sheer pin 1/2" shaft
Marked Alcoa X on one blade and numbers 19265 on opposite blade.

(left hand as viewed from behind)

      Thanks
      Louis

Pictures I can take pretty well….I never learned how to follow "simply" directions to post.
This old dog can not seem to get hang of new tricks.
Anyway the prop is nothing special to look at.
Like a lot of props for sale at meets once parted from its motor it soon becomes an unknown.
Alcoa made a lot of outboard and other parts prewar in order to sell aluminum ,
I tend to believe prop is prewar. Left hand rotation and 1/2 inch bore should narrow field of
possibilities. The depth prop fits sheer pin on prop shaft is much different than K Model
Mercurys which are mostly what I know.

The props I see in the Evinrude parts book for a half inch shaft are mostly antiques under 3 horse power . . . 😀

The 101921 seems most likely what I have although it measures a bit small.
for 7 1/2 and bit large for 7"
Low power prewar by its looks anyway.
                  Thanks
