I need to replace the oil return line (the one that goes between the top and bottom crank bearings) on several of my 5.5’s and 6’s.

I have seen in posts and pics on the board using some clear colored fuel line for this, what size is the hose? PN is 303464, but info does not list the size on the parts sites.

While I am at it, what is the correct size for the fuel/air connector to card/intake?

I plan on buying several feet and want to get it right.

      Thanks so much,

      Allen

For the crankcase return line, I use 1/8" weed edger fuel line available at power equipment shops.

For the carburetor fuel line, I use 3/16" automotive low pressure fuel line available at auto supply stores.

what I did was go to the power equipment shop and got a sample of the sizes I think would work. They sell this hose off big spools so have the guy cut you a couple of samples about 2” long and try them on the motor for fit. you pretty much have to try them for fit as the hose is some kind of plastic. Use the one that fits on the hose nipple the best.

Thank you for the replies, yes I will try and measure an old hose. One is missing all together, the other is intact.
