      A friend gave me a JW-11 Johnson in two pieces – it was broken off just below the lower steering tension screw. After using a couple internal parts, it found a proud home today above my dock.

              Sadly my wife passed away two years ago, but I have a girlfriend now and she thinks it’s a fun thing!

                I hope you fogged the powerhead before putting it on lookout duty!

                Unfortunately, your friend found the weak point in these motors as that is where they like to break.
