Hello all, while pawing through my stash of parts I came across this water pump impellor with no ID. Anyone recognize it? I checked the “Mumbles” handy reference chart and nothing with 12 vanes comes up. Here is the info… diameter 1.615, thickness .570, bore .441 with two key-ways.  I suspect its metric for a foreign motor, as the imperial dementions figure at 41 mm, 14.5mm and 11mm.

      Thanks for looking..

Volvo and others use similar looking impellers but the two pin grooves in it make it look like it comes out of the Scott-Atwater camp. Not sure.

Eureka, I believe that we have it…looks like a Scott Atwater 3785-5100 (Sieara 18-3010) 5, 7.5, 10 HP 1954 -58.  If you are looking for spending an enjoyable / educational evening in the wonderful world of water pump impellers… go to E-Bay and start punching in “impeller – 30XX ” run random numbers and see what comes up. Many of the sellers will show actual dimensions on their products if you open their posting. Its nutz… there must be a zillion different size pump impellers…. engineers with nothing better to do ??
