Hi all, I recently painted the tank on my Elto Handitwin and just today received my new decals from Dixie. How long do yall think I should wait to put the decals on? The paint I used says to repaint before an hour or after 48 hours. Don’t want to wrinkle the paint or destroy $44.00 worth of decals doing it too soon.

I live in an area with consistently high humidity, so I usually give the paint a full week to fully cure before applying decals.   Never had a problem by taking time on this last step.

Wanted to respond to my own post…after opening up my decal and checking all the INSTRUCTIONS …I answered my own question. Dixie says to wait 3 weeks before installing decals over freshly painted tanks. So there ya go!!! BTW…I really like the looks of her decals…gonna make this engine POP!
