        Well, I followed Ben’s video to the letter and got the gearcase all sealed up. Not difficult at all. I cleaned the cr*p out of everything so there was zero leftover sealant. New orings and seals, except the prop shaft seal. Waited 48 hours and pressure tested for 6 hours. Held 6psi steady the whole time.

        I’m gonna call that good, and move on. And yes, I moved the driveshaft a few times during the test. No changes.

        Thanks again to all for the support. Now I’m 100% sure there’s no metal floating around in there. (I did find a couple of small pieces of the seal I mentioned that fell in like I thought.)
