      crosbyman, I thought the same thing when I saw that but since it would be impossible to run it that way I have to go with an optical illusion as you mentioned, and Jeff just misunderstood what you were referring to when you asked him about it.

      The fuel line going to the fuel pump is routed just under the nipple, in line with it, making it look like it’s connected to it. The lighter area pointed out by the arrow must be the nipple just above it, but can’t make out how it’s plugged, or if it is. Jeff’s done this before so I’m guessing it is, just not with a piece of hose. This is my best guess.

          Steve, is correct, the fuel line runs directly beneath the pulse nipple.  Steve’s arrow is pointing at a black vacuum cap which is what I use to plug off the pulse nipple which is why it blended in to the fuel line!

            Never thought of using a vacuum cap Jeff but that’s an excellent idea. I thought I could see a cable tie in the enlarged pic but wasn’t sure what it was securing.
