The Massey Ferguson outboard is actually a 1951 Elgin 6hp. When I repair these old Elgins here in Eastern Washington they don’t sell when they have the Elgin green paint job. These youngsters don’t see the coolness in an old outboard like we do. So I give them a paint job that is eye catching and sparks interest. We have a lot of farmers around here and I have sold a couple of John Deere outboards. I was just given three more outboards so let the fun begin.
