Thinking about finally ordering one of these. I see from the pics that they are slotted for 4-bolt flywheels. I have this Suzuki DT65 with 4 bolts on a 3″ circle (1.5″ radius). Could someone look at one and see if this is within the range of the puller? (Bent my cheapy “harmonic balancer puller” trying to get it off with two bolts.)

      Thanks.

Just. Probably the biggest bolt would be an 8mm.

Thanks. It looks like it would fit. I forgot to say the threads are 8mm. On the other hand, I could find a scrap of 1/2″ plate, drill five holes in it, and use it on top of the puller I have. Have also learned that the hardware store availability of metric fasteners does not include long ones of high grade. Those need to be ordered from Fastenal or other industrial supply house.

If you are going to keep playing with outboard motors, then just buy it! You won’t regret it. JMHO

Like Dave says, you won’t regret it. It is far, far better than anything else you could buy or make, plus it comes with an assortment of specialized bolts and heavy duty washers. Best money you will ever spend on an outboard-related tool. They are so good that I can’t believe they still make them. Better buy one now before the contract goes out to the Chinese.

I looked around and there are several part numbers, though 378103 seems like the most common. Does it matter/
