Question on a 7.5hp and 12hp West Bend

Does anyone know if a 1957 12hp West Bend power head can be swapped onto a 1957 7.5hp West Bend motor? I didn’t know if the 12hp will bolt up? Figuring it won’t but thought I would ask. If not can the cowl be used from a 7.5hp on a 12hp??

no the bolt pattern is different

The cowl is the same and can be reused.
