June 23, 2025 at 4:22 pm #297536I can’t find anything apart from gaskets on Ebay. I would try posing a classified on this site and/or in the Antique Outboarder unless somebody has a lead for one here.

June 23, 2025 at 8:12 pm #297549If all else fails, try a phone call (not a text) to the guys at Twin City Outboard. They are an outboard junkyard that has motors going back to 1906. Their store is located just south of Minneapolis, but they ship nearly everywhere. Phone number on their website below. At the website there is a link to their E-Bay store where you can click on “Contact” and send them an E-mail – they will reply is a couple days. Their website has said they are currently updating it, but it’s been that way for several years – ignore that.

June 24, 2025 at 9:50 am #297557This should be interesting, those things are kinda pricey. Try to buy one that has been disassembled so you can see what shape the gears are in. I have “coned” a couple of conventional units with good results. Visually, you will fool some folks. Conventional props are less expensive and easy to find.
"Fox News" isn't.

June 26, 2025 at 2:36 pm #297595As Hoskins said, getting one in parts is the best bet. I have been rebuilding them for about 40 years now and many people have sent boxes that were simply junk inside. You may get lucky, but watch what you spend on them unless you know what is in it.
Several years ago I went through a 16:21 ratio box that felt very good. When I got it apart there was a missing tooth on the prop gear. Not just damaged; missing!!!! The sad thing is that somebody else knowingly put it together that way and sold it. The point of this story is that even one that feels great can be no good.
Hope this helps some.
